Clean Fill

Fill lacks soil organic material, which means that it may contain sand, rocks, stones, and earth. It is usually used to fill holes in the ground, or to change the elevation of property. Some ideal projects are: raising planting beds, leveling off land, building up the ground around foundations to fix water drainage problems, and securing ground around retaining walls.

Screenings

Granite screenings are a pulverized by-product of the stone-crushing process at quarries. The size of screenings is generally 3/8″ down to dust. Screenings are most commonly used as a setting bed and joint filler for pavers. Other useful applications are; Biking and hiking trails, garden paths, walkways, various hardscaping, landscaping, and agricultural projects.

Topsoil

Topsoil is the uppermost layer of the earth often containing clay, nutrients, and decomposed vegetation. All of our topsoil is screened and processed to provide rich ingredients. Topsoil should be used for flower beds or vegetable gardens. Topsoil is ideal for filling in low spots in lawns or along walkways and patios.

Beach Sand

Fine-textured beach sand is essentially what it sounds like — it’s similar in feel and look to what you might see on vacation. It’s often found on playgrounds, on beach volleyball courts, and in sandboxes. It may also be referred to as “play sand.”

Filter Sand

Whitby Filter Sand is a coarse-grained clean sand used in filter beds. This sand is used for the removal of suspended matter, as well as floating and sinkable particles. The wastewater flows vertically through a fine bed of sand and/or gravel.

7/8” Crushed Stone / Granular A

Crushed Stone consists of particles of various sizes: screenings to 7/8″. The fines make crusher run messy and dusty, unlike clear gravels. Thus, creating a well-compacted and interlocked structure. Our 7/8 Crusher Run is mainly used in making roads, driveways, parking lots and other paved areas with traffic. You can use it under asphalt, concrete, pavers, and other surfaces.

3/8” Clear Chip

This aggregate product is typically used as a pipe bedding material or for leveling rock underneath a slab of concrete. It can also be used for pathways, around firepits or golf cart paths. As it is a crushed rock it will remain in place better than smooth or round pea gravel.

3/4” Clear Stone

Washed stone contains no sand or filler material, allowing for ample drainage. Can be used for drainage in weeping beds, under concrete slabs, a sub-base for pavers, in drainage applications. Ideal for swale creations and window wells. We offer both ¾” and 1″ clear stone for various applications.

1” Clear Stone

Larger Clear stone for various landscaping, septic beds and drainage applications allowing for ample drainage. 

2” Minus / Granular B

Mid size crushed stone particles of various sizes: screenings to 2”. This stone can be used in driveways, as a base for concrete, and as a sub-base for pavers. Perfect product for underneath concrete pours.

6” Minus

Mid size crushed stone particles of various sizes: screenings to 6”. This stone can be used in driveways, as a base for concrete, and as a sub-base for pavers. Perfect product for underneath concrete pours.

12” Crusher Run

Large size crushed stone of various sizes: screenings to 12”. This stone is mostly used for a base for roads and new driveways.

Gabion Stone

Gabion stones make walls and landscaping elements aesthetically appealing while still being structurally sound. You can add a unique, rustic look to your garden by building a gabion wall or using gabion baskets as design elements, great for dock Cribs.

Pea Stone

Small coloured stone  5/8” and Larger up to 1″. Used for above-ground projects and applications. Since it has a smooth finish, pea gravel is also regularly used for walkways, playgrounds, patios, accent gardens or flower beds and a variety of other high-traffic areas.

Blast Rock

Large Granite Rock from blasting used for landscaping accents, retaining walls, bases for new construction and driveways.

Large Boulders

Large natural granite stone used for landscaping accents and retaining walls.

We offer >12″ natural boulders for small projects and 2-3′ natural boulders for larger projects.

Reclaimed Asphalt

Recycled asphalt is simply old asphalt that is then ground into an aggregate size. When it’s compacted, the material is able to harden and bind together. This makes it a great pick for use on driveways and roadways.

River Rock

Smoothed by the natural process of flowing water, our decorative river rock makes an excellent addition to your landscape. River Rock is a decorative rock the has been smoothed by flowing water. It can be used in gardens or as a decorative boarder around driveways and walkways.
